THE NUTRITION BITES TEAM
A team of qualified experts headed by:
I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist 12 years ago (long before anyone had heard of quinoa) having undertaken an extensive 4 year training at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in Richmond, London where I completed a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy, with Distinction. Over the years, as part of my Continual Professional Development, I have undertaken training on a regular basis to gain new insights and increase my expertise in this amazing and ever-increasing arena of nutrition science. I deliver evidence-based nutrition and I have always been an accredited member of BANT and CHNC.
After running a private Nutritional Therapy Clinic, I returned to the Institute for Optimum Nutrition a few years after graduating to become an academic and clinical tutor to further develop my knowledge and clinical skills. Teaching others to eat well is empowering stuff and I have a mission to educate, inform and inspire as many people as possible to move away from mindless eating to conscious eating through Nutrition Know-How. Having started out my career in London advertising, managing global food and drink brands, I returned to the corporate world five years ago and now develop bespoke, award-winning workplace nutrition and wellbeing programmes for large corporates and SME’s.
So, what drives my passion?
I have first-hand experience of the power of food having sorted out many health issues I experienced in my twenties. The demands of living in the 21st century is greater than they have ever been and I believe good nutrition can help individuals to cope better with the demands placed upon then. Above all, I love working with people, sharing my knowledge to help them eat better and experience the power of food too. Good nutrition should be at the heart of anybody’s wellbeing. I think it is the most cost effective and impactful measure you can introduce because:
Small Changes = BIG Impact
“Nutrition Know-how. It’s easy when you know how!”
I’m a qualified Graphic Designer, BA (hons) and have worked in the food sector for 9 years. Over the years, as part of my Continual Proessional Development, I have undertaken training on a regular basis to gain new insights and increase my expertise. I hold a certificate in Profession Marketing (awarded by CIM), am a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and have specialist experience in visual merchandising and digital marketing.
I head up our communication, marketing and design department with particular focus on customer engagement and customer experience.
I’m extremely proud of being part of an award-winning team, designing workplace nutrition and wellbeing programmes for large corporates and SMEs. When you work with Nutrition Bites you get the chance to work with our whole team to educate, inform and inspire your workforce to eat well.
So, what drives my passion?
I grew up in a hospitality business and from an early age was exposed to how food brings people together. Travelling the world in my twenties, my love of food and togetherness grew stronger. My interest in nutrition flourished when I began working with Catherine over 6 years ago. Not only has it changed the way I eat, but has inspired friends and family to do the same. Food is my fuel, I ‘eat to live’ and ‘live to eat’. I have been so inspired that I feel it’s my duty to educate, inform and inspire as many people as possible to improve their nutrition know how. I love to find ways to communicate this subject matter – with my marketing hat on I always have the customer at the front of my mind and when I put my design hat on I can bring this to life visually.
